The
College of Engineering & Rural Technology, Meerut (CERT)
established in 1999 under the aegis of Chitragupt Social
Welfare & Educational Society has been contributing
tremendously to meet the indispensable need of most
competent Technocrats, Scientists, Managers and
Engineers in the present era of Global
Industrialization. The Institute aims at grooming the
budding young professionals by equipping them with
required knowledge and talent by their all round
development.
The college with its magnificent infrastructure, labs,
library, computers, faculty and staff is triumphantly
running B. Tech. courses in EC, CS, IT, EI, ME and also
Master of Business Administration (MBA). Four batches
have already passed out. The students like Gaurav
Singhal EI gold medallist and Rahul Bhatt (ME IIlrd
semester) 9th rank UPTU in 2004 bear testimony to the
academic excellence of the college at the apex. Besides
studies the students are exposed to strenuous year round
series of various personality development exercises to
develop and expand their managerial and professional
competency to pursue the desired goals in order to
develop the potential of future entrepreneurs. Faculty
members represent blend of high credentials and
substantial experience to enrich the process of
learning.
With the passage of time CERT will reach the pinnacle of
glory by producing highly talented world class dynamic
humanised engineers and professionals to overcome the
turbulent milieu of mind- boggling tempestuous times
possessing sterling values of life such as honesty,
truth, perseverance, persistence, commitment & self -
abnegation igniting their latent spark of creativity
with perfect blend of professional expertise & human
values to meet the corporate needs of society where
social justice & equity would reign supreme.
It is anticipated that CERT will strive to establish its
exuberance particularly in the field of Academics and
Placements by retaining the Kernel ingredients and
dominance of Aryan culture, civilization and its
heritage to be more useful and more profitable to Indian
society and produce ideal citizens for our country in
future.
I am sure that the entrants in different streams at
CERT. will, find professional talent in abundance to be
able to face the competitive world with poise of
confidence converting their dreams into reality.
